Celeste Evers, MBA, LBSW, CSWM

I founded Sawubona Path, LLC because I believe growth begins when we are truly seen by ourselves and by others. For more than 20 years, I have worked in social work with many different populations, and now I serve in nonprofit executive leadership. Across every part of my career, one theme has remained constant: relationships matter deeply.

As I grew in my own life, I began to see that the relationship I had with myself and others affected everything else. When I started doing the work to better understand myself and strengthen my relationships with others, I experienced real personal and professional growth. That experience changed me, and it also gave me a clearer sense of purpose. I wanted to create a space where other people could experience that same kind of clarity, healing, and momentum.

Sawubona Path is my response to that calling. The name reflects the idea of being seen, and that is at the heart of my work. I want people to know they are whole, resourceful, resilient, and capable, even when life has made them feel otherwise. My coaching approach is hope-centered, strength-based, and grounded in empathy and resilience. My life’s work has always been about helping people, and through Sawubona Path, I continue that work by supporting others as they grow into their own strength and possibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Life coaching is a partnership that is grounded in a supportive, goal-oriented relationship. Our conversations are designed to help you get from where you are right now to where you truly want to be.

No judgment. Just focused, meaningful conversation with a trained partner who is completely in your corner

  • Therapy focuses on the past. It helps you process pain, heal old wounds, and work through mental and emotional challenges. It's deep, important work.

Life coaching focuses on the future. Rather than looking back at what happened, coaching asks: Where do you want to go, and what's getting in the way? It's about gaining clarity, building momentum, and taking intentional steps toward the life you want to create.

At Sawubona Path, our work begins where you are right now and moves forward with purpose. If you're ready to take that next step, we'd love to walk alongside you.

  • This work is in my bones.

I've spent over 20 years as a social worker sitting with people in some of their hardest moments and what I've learned is that people are remarkably resilient. They just sometimes need someone in their corner who truly believes that, even when they can't believe it for themselves.

That's what I bring to coaching. Not just training, but two decades of real experience walking alongside real people through real life.

My approach is rooted in Hope Theory, which means we don't just dream about where you want to go, we build a actual path to get there. And because I know that many of us carry weight from our past, everything I do is grounded in trauma-informed care. You are safe here. Your story is respected here.

At Sawubona Path, you're not a client on a checklist. You're a whole person and I'm honored to walk this path with you.
